Joani and Katie have been working diligently on sewing covers for the bedding cushions in Kate and Mike's motorhome.  They have dubbed their home on wheels the "Green Bean".  It is a 2003 model Safari Trek.  They chose it for its compact design (only 27 feet long) and low maintenance (no slides, gas engine).

Today the work on the cushions was interrupted to take the Green Bean for a spin around the neighborhood.  It is always good to exercise the engine, drive train and chassis every so often if you plan to stay in one place for more than a month.  I grabbed the camera and snapped a few shots of Katie in the driver's seat.

Away she goes!

And they're back.

As you can see, they chose a very nice looking coach.  We will try to help them settle in and get accustomed to the RVing life while we visit with them here in Oregon.  I really liked the big cat mural painted on the back!
