Joani had planned our next overnight in Rock Springs, WY, but we both slept well and got such an early start (well before 8 am) that I decided to push on through to Evanston, WY.  That made the trip a total of 363.1 miles (78,554.8 total) and we still arrived before 2:00.

It was striking just how different Wyoming was from Nebraska.  We saw lots of wind generators - I don't think it was because there was not enough wind in Nebraska.

I saw very little or no corn planted in Wyoming.  Instead, there was a lot of cattle.  In the field below, we saw dozens or maybe hundreds of cattle walking single file across the field.

There were many snow fences along the highway.  I'll be happy to never see them covered in snow!

As we traveled further west, we saw more interesting geologic formations that reminded of very much of Utah - of course, Evanston was only 5 miles from the Utah border.

From our "site" in the Walmart parking lot, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
