One last stroll around Charleston, South Carolina, and another couple hundred pictures. Feels like we are native Charlestonians. I think we can say we have seen enough fabulous architecture for a while.

Storefronts along King Street

Entrance to Jacobs Alley on King Street.
This little alley leads to the hauntingly beautiful cemetery
next to the Unitarian Church on Archdale Street.

I also love to photograph old gas lights.
The flag reflection was a happy accident.

Drove to Folly Island, just 7 miles south of our campground, James Island County RV Park in Charleston, SC. Walked out to the north end of the island to see Lighthouse Inlet. The lighthouse was a few hundred yards out in the water - great photo op.

Walked out on the Folly Beach Pier. Captured our shadows under the pier. Once again no dogs allowed. (This time we obeyed.)

Under the pier at Folly Beach was very photogenic.

That's us saying "Wish you were here."

Driving home, this really pretty sunset had us searching for a good place to pull over. Had to watch it play out. Have a few hundred more pictures to sort through.

A beautiful day at James Island County Park, Charleston, South Carolina, - started with a walk to the dog park.

Sun rising over the lake that borders the dog park.

Drove into Charleston and parked along Murray Blvd on the south side of Battery Park (free parking). Walked for hours exploring. Enjoyed Waterfront Park with its fountains. BBQ brisket for lunch at an outdoor cafe (Sam in tow). The second trip to the dog park at sunset brought the walking total to about 6.5 miles for the day.
