Sunday, June 16, 2013, Lover's Leap Trail, Custer State Park, SD

Thought today would be a really lazy day, but we got all of our laundry done and then decided we should drive over to Custer State Park, Custer, SD, one last time and take a little hike.

This trail turned out to be a little over 4 miles, but the elevation change made it a pretty strenuous hike. The view was well worth the effort! Unfortunately, the pictures do not do it justice.

Sam learned to hop from stone to stone to cross the stream!

On the way out of the park, we couldn't resist stopping for one last shot of a buffalo roaming by the Custer State Park Visitors Center.
