Since the rally does not officially start until Wednesday, we decided this was our best opportunity for a visit to Devils Tower National Park, WY. From the tree line to the top is over 600 feet.
The first thing we saw inside the park was the Prairie Dog Town. These guys were right next to the road, so they presented some pretty easy photo opportunities.
We took the Ranger-led tour along the loop around the tower. It gave us the chance to photograph the tower with light from every angle. The only wildlife along the way was this tiny bull snake.
Bob's doppelganger was in our tour group!
Back at the rally, this is looking to the east! (no, I didn't adjust the colors.)
