Monday, March 17, 2014, Move to Second Site in Watchman Campground, Zion National Park, UT

Well, it was technically moving day. Our reservation at campsite B018c in Watchman Campground, Zion National Park, UT, had expired and we moved to campsite B053b. I thought it would probably be a good idea to take advantage of the move and empty the tanks and refill the fresh water. Even with that, we didn't manage to add a mile to the odometer - just a 0.5 trip (7,298.4 trip/66,779.5 total). The new site is still part of the same shared group site as before, so we are only about 100 feet from our last site and it only took about an hour before we were fully set up again.

Still a bit tired from the trip to Bryce yesterday, we decided to take it easy. Sam got a walk to the visitor center and around the campground before we spent a lazy afternoon reading and soaking in the sun.

Zion National Park is ideal in March - with luck, mild weather, low crowds and no buses, yet.
