After a couple of days of cleaning and waxing, it was time to do something else!  Georgetown, TX had a very quaint downtown square. As a bonus, it was only about a five-minute drive from our campsite.

Georgetown is the Williamson county seat.  The county courthouse is at the center of the square.  There were art galleries, craft shops, restaurants and fudge shops all around.

I thought it was interesting that many of the buildings were as old as the town of Tombstone, AZ.  It was a little strange contrasting Georgetown with the raw, wild west town of Tombstone we had just visited.
