Our time in Pecos was short, but we stayed busy.  Now, it was time to move on again.  We had a long one today at 366.3 miles (72,637.9 total) all the way to Blazing Star RV Resort in San Antonio, TX.  The drive was not just long, it was wet. It was raining or had just rained most of the way.  There was even a point when I started to wonder if we would see some of that zero visibility fog.

The road grime coated everything.  When we got to the park, I could not see out of the windshield on the car.  I just parked it at the office until I could return and clean it up later.

The first thing we noticed was just how green everything was.  Green grass covered the ground and trees were everywhere.  Sam immediately sampled the tasty grass and thoroughly enjoyed getting his feet wet as he romped through the tall grass.  The next thing we noticed was the laughter (and other noises) of little kids playing in the park.  We have been in so many 55+ parks lately it almost sounded foreign.  After the longest drive in four months, I thought it was appropriate to relax with a glass of Pinot and leave everything else until tomorrow.
