Some corn-on-the-cob sounded good and we were passing "The Barn" (Avila Vally Barn, San Luis Obispo, CA) so we stopped in. Despite the signs on the road saying "Fresh Sweet Corn" they were fresh out. Needless to say, I was disappointed, but it was quickly forgotten. Instead, we spent some time wandering around The Barn's collection of animals. There were horses, cows, chickens, turkeys, goats, sheep, alpacas and probably a few others I missed.
That's one way to scratch your back.
