Saturday, June 16, 2018, Whitefish Point

It was overcast but there was still no rain, so we headed to Whitefish point about 20 miles from our campsite. The Lighthouse and Shipwreck Museum were not open when we arrived (not that we had planned to go in, I just have little interest in tragic history.)

We fought our way through a very hungry swarm of mosquitoes to the water's edge. Once there, we wandered the beach, bug-free, marveling at the colorful stones of Lake Superior.
