Tuesday, October 15, 2013, Fun With Jim and Maggie at Pismo Beach, CA

Jim and Maggie drove us around Pismo Beach, CA, showing us some of the more interesting sites and reminiscing about vacations here in times gone by. We stopped in "The Barn" (Avila Vally Barn, San Luis Obispo, CA) - sort of a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, country store and cafe all rolled into one. We each had a huge scoop of ice cream and decided to call it lunch since we had plans that called for a good appetite later.

Look at those eyes!  I think it is an Alpaca.

 It's that time of year!

There was actually water in the creek!

The bark on this tree is amazing!

I had fun poking around the antique shops with Jim and Maggie.

Went to Klondike Pizza in Arroyo Grande with Jim and Maggie. We met some of their friends there for all-you-can-eat pizza. The servers brought different pizzas around and dished it up for you if you liked the variety they had. There was always something new passing by. Varieties included either red or white sauce topped with cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggies (in any or all combinations) and one they dubbed "road kill" which included pretty much everything. The group included Jan and Larry, Lynda and James and their daughter Karen. We all had a great time and, of course, way too much to eat!

We so enjoyed Jim and Maggie's friends!  All fellow RVers.
