Red Ledge RV Park in Kanarraville, UT, turned out to be an extremely pleasant place to stay. Gail, the owner, runs a very nice park - small, quiet with clean showers and a nice laundry only steps away from the coach (request site #6).
It was made all the better by the company of other travelers we met there. John and Barb started a Happy Hour tradition. Almost everyone in the park joined in each afternoon. We talked about travels, must-see sights and plans, both near and long term. We tried sitting near the coaches, but the wind was too much and the patio by the office provided a more comfortable place for our get-together's.
Below are John and Barb and Gerry. John and Barb have a home in Chattanooga but are thinking about trying the full-time life for a while. Gerry and Gary are full-timers in one of the largest fifth wheel trailers I have seen. It was a toy hauler with a Mini Cooper stowed inside.
Gary had a lot of tales about work-camping and places to stay along the road. He had some first-hand experience with nearly every road or destination we discussed. Next to Gary are Roger and Mary. They have been full-timing for quite a while, work-camping in Minnesota in the summers and wintering in Arizona.
Hopefully, we will stay in touch!
