We left the farm and headed to Sioux Falls, SD, (290.6 miles, 1,705.5 trip/61,186.6 total). We stayed at Tower Campground right in town. It was recommended by the folks who are now our mail forwarding service. The campground was nice enough, but I couldn't recommend it. Since it was right on the entrance ramp to the I-29 - there was a lot of traffic noise all night long.
We tried in vain to get South Dakota drivers licenses, so we made arrangements for another night. We were just in time - as Joani paid, she heard the office turn someone down because they were full.
