Friday, September 13, 2013, Valley River Center Mall, Riverbank Path System, Eugene, OR

We finally left Portland, OR, and moved 115.8 miles down the road to Eugene (4,324.2 trip/63,808.3 total). Joani found Valley River Center Mall that allows two nights of dry camping (slides out) in their parking lot. We parked right next to the extensive Eugene Riverbank Path System with walking trails that follow the river. There were a lot of walkers, joggers and bicyclists who used the trail while we were there - it might have been better to have had a little buffer between the coach and the trail.

We walked the trail and found a beautiful rose garden about a half mile away. Their roses appeared to be a bit fresher than those we saw in Portland.
