We changed our "not very" firm plans and decided to move a short distance down the road to Sutherlin, OR, a short 69.2 miles (4,393.4 trip/63,874.5 total). We thought we could visit Crater Lake and firm up plans before diving into California. The trip was very uneventful (always a good thing!) and we were set up by 1:00 at Hi-Way Haven RV Park - a very nice campground situated in an old drive-in movie theater. They actually show movies on Friday and Saturday nights but, unfortunately, we will be leaving Friday morning. Joani caught some nice cloud drama at sunset.
