We woke up early trying to get to the FMCA Rally at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio, CA, when they opened at 8:00. It was only 4.6 miles from the casino to the fairgrounds (6,165.4 trip/65,646.5 total). We arrived shortly after they opened and were parked and set up by 8:30 (not much to set up when you dry camp). We even had enough time to find the morning coffee and doughnuts. There wasn't much on the schedule for the opening day until later, so we went out for a date shake and some more date sampling.
Pick up a "buy one, get one free" coupon for the date shake! Too good!
I know dates are nearly pure sugar and I should exercise more restraint. We both felt sluggish as we toured new coaches back at the rally later in the afternoon. We found a floor plan we really liked. Maybe in another ten years, if our coach is worn out and we are still traveling, we might have identified a possible replacement. We just have to stop looking at anything newer so we won't find something else we like better.
Nice floor plan in the American Coach Revolution.
This one will have to go to a lottery winner. I suspect the custom paint on the coach and matching trailer was at least a couple hundred thousand. The two vehicles parked in the trailer were beauties. How much is a V-12 Mercedes Benz coupe anyway? I don't think I will find out, but it sure is nice to dream sometimes.
Pull one car in, raise it up and park a second car under it. Quite the toy hauler.
