Friday, July 12, 2013, Teton Pass into Jackson Hole, WY

We drove over the Teton Pass into Jackson Hole, WY (we now know "hole" is another term for valley). The drive included a lot of 10% grade up one side and down the other over the space of about ten miles. With no passing lanes, it only takes one truck pulling a heavy trailer to get a pretty long convoy started, but the view is worth the slow drive.

The mountain range is truly spectacular and we had to pull over quite a few times for photos. It was a beautiful sunny day with a lot of fluffy clouds so the light was always changing.

Since it was our first day and we were just getting familiar with the area, we took the Jenny Lake Scenic Drive and found most of the major point of interest. We collected park info to plan our next visit.
